Who is Jeff Siegel
I am! I grew up in the San Fernando Valley with a dad who was president/owner of his own mortgage company, owned and managed various rental properties and apartments, and a mom who had retired from running a real estate office to have children. I chose real estate as my profession and earned a Bachelor degree in Real Estate from San Diego State University's College of Business.I have compiled a diverse background in the business- I have over 25 years in the mortgage industry including owning my own mortgage firm. I’ve appraised real estate, bought, upgraded and sold my own investment (flip) properties, and have worked in escrow and managed rental properties. And now I’m a real estate agent, and have sold properties ALL OVER the southland, including Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino and San Diego counties. I also love to help both landlords and tenants with their leasing needs. My clients feel safe knowing that besides theBachelor degree I hold a real estate Broker license, which is a greater achievement than salesperson. I always have my clients best interests in mind as real estate can be a difficult road to navigate. I am respected within the agent community and pride myself in achieving my clients' goals over and above their level of expectation. I work one step ahead during the sale transaction to insure that everything goes as smoothly as possible and that my clients feel comforable and understand all aspects of the process.
I enjoy working with real estate investors! The Real Estate program at SDSU involved the study of urban dynamics among other ares of study. I'm always looking for the "emerging" community or pocket within our vast southland. With so much change happening around downtown Los Angleles there are great opportunities to enjoy greater-than-average appreciation in real estate investing. Many communities in the Valley are appreciating, redeveloping, or evolving more rapidly than others. The city of Los Angeles is changing for the better as many people move back to communities that were once considered to be less than desirable areas to live in.
Rentals of homes and units is a large portion of real estate and I am both a landlord and tenant's best friend. I'm developing a web site to specialize in bringing both tenants and landlords together, and I'm expert at credit analysis and assisting my landlords (and tenants) with achieving their goals while protecting their interests.
I'm also human. I’m a (very proud) father of two grown sons, both college graduates and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. I was born and raised in the hills above Studio City, and am an avid day-hiker and enjoy the exploring thedeserts of of the southwest U.S. I’m an active volunteer in my community and helped establish the community of Valley Glen where I’ve lived for the past 30+ years as the recognized community that its achieved. I love the car culture of southern California, and am an active warbird enthusiast and volunteer.
Most of all, I enjoy meeting new prospects and clients. I invite you to drop me a line and ask me a question. I'd love to EARN your business!
